➤  The customer will be charged separately for any TOLLS or CLEAN AIR CLEAR CHARGES, if any occur whilst transporting there horse.


➤ If you are unable to provide a haynet for your horse, please let us know in advance. Additional charges will apply if Denidot Equine Transport is required to provide a haynet.


➤ In Circumstances where Denidot Equine Transport is required to wait at an event, a waiting fee of £12.50 per hour will be charged.


➤ OUT OF HOURS: Any transportation required outside the hours of 8am- 6pm Monday to Sunday, will incur an additional call out fee of £40 on top of all other transport costs.


➤ When bookings are made months in advance, there may be a slight increase in the transport costs, due to fuel costs also increasing. If any increases have occurred, Denidot Equine Transport will notify you of these 2 weeks prior to the transport date.

Additional Charges

➤ All horses being transported by Denidot Equine Transport must have a legal passport. This is a legal requirement in the UK under the Horse Passports (England) Regulations 2004, it must be an original passport (photocopies are not accepted). In the circumstances that a horse does not match the passport or no passport is available on collection, transport will be denied and the customer will still be accountable for full transport costs.


➤ You are personally liable for your horse during transport and we recommend you have the appropriate insurance for your horse. 


➤ Denidot Equine Transport have Care, custody and control Insurance up to a value of £10,000. On making a booking this confirms you are in acceptance of the level of cover.


➤ When booking you will be asked questions regarding your horse (breed, height, sex etc.) and also how well your horse loads and travels. Please be honest when describing your horse as this is very important. Should there be any misrepresentation, Denidot Equine Transport reserve the right to refuse transport and the full transport costs will still be required from the customer.


➤  Any horse proving dangerous to load or travel will be offloaded or refused transport and the full transport cost will still be required.


➤ All horses must be fit, healthy and sound to travel, unless travelling to the vets. We reserve the right to refuse transport if we think the horse is not in a fit enough condition to travel. The customer will still be responsible for the full transport costs.


➤ In the event emergency veterinary attention is required whilst we will endeavour to contact you prior, if we are unable to reach you we reserve the right to obtain veterinary advice/attention if this is deemed necessary. You will be liable for any costs.


➤ Denidot Equine Transport will not be held responsible for holdups or delays during transport. We endeavour to deliver all horses on time, but sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances it could be later than agreed. Should any loss of entry fees or other related costs being incurred due to delayed or cancelled journeys, Denidot Equine Transport will not accept any liability.


➤ In the event of extreme circumstances, such as weather preventing safe transit for example, we will use our best judgement. This may require rescheduling transportation to a more convenient day.


➤ During loading 30 minutes is given to load your horse, after this time a fee of £10 per half hour will be levied, unless discussed and negotiated when booking. If a horse is deemed dangerous to load or incapable of being loaded, Denidot Equine Transport has the right to refuse travel and the customer will be responsible for the full transport costs.


➤ When making a booking with Denidot Equine Transport you are accepting liability of any costs of repairs/damage if your horse has damaged our horse box whilst loading, unloading or at any point during transit. Any repairs carried out on the horse box will be undertaken by a repair company of Denidot Equine Transports choosing. A detailed receipt will be provided and no negotiation will be accepted should any repairs be required. In addition to this, there will be a daily fee of £100 for each day until the horse box is repaired, this is to cover loss of earnings. The customer is more than welcome to complete a visual inspection prior to loading.


➤ Should your horse become unsettled during transit Denidot Equine Transport reserves the right to sedate your horse and/or call out an emergency vet to sedate your horse if deemed necessary. The customer will be liable for all expenses incurred.


➤ Denidot Equine Transport will take all reasonable precautions however, in the event of any accidents, Denidot Equine Transport will not be liable for your horse or for any injuries/damage sustained to, or by your horse. 


➤ Any travel accessories or protection for your horse is your responsibility, and must be correctly fitted and safe by us.


➤ Customers are welcome to travel in the horsebox cab but doing so is entirely at your own risk. The same applies to any belongings of the customers that travel in the vehicle.


➤ On the day of transportation, please make sure there is ample room for manoeuvring our horsebox and that there is also a flat/level surface for loading your horse.

Loading & Transporting

➤ Any bookings are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. In making a booking with Denidot Equine Transport the customer confirms that they are the owner of the horse in transit and accepts these terms and conditions or are authorised to accept these on behalf of the owner.


➤ We require a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount quoted for transport to secure any booking.Until the deposit is received we cannot guarantee your booking. 


➤ The remaining balance, less deposit is to be paid in cash on the day. If you wish to pay Bank Transfer this needs to be sent a minimum of 24 hours before the journey is to commence, this is to ensure funds have been received.


➤ Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the date of transport, will be charged a cancellation fee of your deposit. Cancellations made less than 72 hours from the date of transport will be charged at a cancellation fee of the full transport cost.


➤ If you require or wish to change your transport date, more than 72 hours prior to the original transport date this will only require a small admin fee of £25. If a change of transport date is required less than 72 hours from the original transport date than this will be subject to a cancellation and you will lose your deposit. Under extreme circumstances and at Denidot Equine Transports discretion we will try to accommodate changes and may be able to waiver fees incurred
